Lash extensions are applied to your natural lashes. They are carefully attached one by one to each individual natural lash using a special adhesive. This method ensures that the extensions are safe and comfortable to wear for weeks.
Your best eyelash extensions can last up to 8 weeks, although 4 to 6 weeks is most common; this all depends on your natural lash cycle, lifestyle, and your aftercare. To maximize the lifespan of your lashes, it’s recommended to return for an infill after the first 2 to 3 weeks, and avoid harsh skincare products or excessive rubbing of your eyes.
We do not recommend wearing mascara with eyelash extensions. The adhesive that is used to attach your eyelash extensions can be weakened by mascara and other oil-based skincare products. But this is the time-saving instant beauty effects of getting lash extensions, you won’t have to apply mascara everyday! That said, if you want to enhance your lashes further, a lash serum or lash growth enhancer can be used.
We strongly advise against using any type of eyelash curler, including both mechanical and electric eyelash curlers, on your new eyelash extensions. The heat from a curler can warp your extensions. Furthermore, it’s possible that eyelash curlers can damage your natural lashes, too.
If you want a more dramatic curl, we can make that happen! Our lash artists offer a variety of styles, including extensions with stronger curls.
Yes, but we do not recommedned getting them wet within the first 24 hours because the adhesive needs enough time to completely cure properly so you can enjoy your beautiful lashes for weeks to come.
After a day or two, feel free to resume any water activities, visiting the spa or exercising. Because our high-quality adhesive is waterproof, you can enjoy your favorite activities without worrying about your lashes.
That said, salt water (ocean water) is not your lashes friend… Salt water can lead to a de-bonding of the adhesive causing lashes to come off. Furthermore, try not to touch your lashes as the natural oils on your skin can gradually weaken the adhesive as well.
